Meagan Konkol, PT, DPT earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2008. Her career spans multiple states working mainly in outpatient orthopedic settings that include weekend warriors to geriatric patients looking to restore mobility and function after an injury, fall, general deconditioning, or neurological event.
Her academic career began at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a French minor. During her time in undergrad she was also a member of the women’s basketball program. After a stint in public relations, Meagan chose to switch careers and received her pre-requisites at George Mason University in Northern Virginia while working as a teacher’s assistant for Anatomy and Physiology labs in the Biology department and as a PT Aide at an outpatient clinic that focused on orthopedic conditions in the adult population.
Dr. Konkol is certified in Functional Dry Needling through Kinetacore. She also holds a certification in teaching Prenatal Yoga through Pranakriya: School of Yoga Healing Arts. In her earlier days as a physical therapist, Dr. Konkol was a clinical instructor and completed training from the American Physical Therapy Association.
Dr. Konkol moved to Tulsa in 2022 with her husband Eric Konkol, who currently serves as the head men’s basketball coach at the University of Tulsa. You can see her and their two boys, Ethan (15) and Ryan (13) cheering on TU every home game. She also is very active in the community serving with Young Men’s Service League.
