We are using the Brock string to accomplish working on convergence. Convergence insufficiency is one of the most common problems after someone suffers from a concussion. And so we want to use this string to work on improving convergence because that’s a really important skill you need for reading. So what we do is start by focusing on this orange bead. Okay. When you focus on the orange bead, it should be clear. And then in the background, the green and yellow bead should be split. That’s how you know you’re doing it correctly. Then we have him focus on the green bead to see if he can make the orange and the yellow bead split. And then his last one is the yellow bead, to focus on that, to see if the green and the orange split. And then we ask about symptoms because this is going to give us a really good idea, if this produces a headache or dizziness, then we know that this is an issue that they need to work on at home so that reading becomes easier and they can accomplish returning to learn better.
