Starting in November 2014 (yes you read that right – 2014), House Bill 1020 went into effect allowing Oklahomans to see a physical therapist without a referral for up to 30 days. If care is needed beyond that initial 30 days, we will work with your primary care physician to get a referral for more visits.
This allows for two primary things: immediate care for common issues and assistance getting to the right medical provider if additional care is needed – all for less money.
